Anyway, a lot has happened over the past... well, more than a year since I've last written. College college college, work work work, stress stress stress, and hurricanes hurricanes hurricanes.
Yeah, that's right, hurricanes.
For those of you who don't know, I was a student at Texas A&M University at Galveston for the first three semesters of college. (Currently, I'm in my fourth and I'm at the main campus of Texas A&M) But last semester, Galveston was devastated by Hurricane Ike. It was a force to be reckoned with, that much is true, and we were out of school for a few weeks while the administration and faculty were trying to figure out what to do with the students. It ended up that we were displaced up to the main campus in College Station, Texas. We attended our regular classes at different time intervals. Instead of having a class three times a week, an hour each class, we had a class once a week for three hours each time we attended. I had two classes in a Methodist church off of campus, some people had classes in a couple of dining halls, and a lot of people were put into dormrooms with 3 or 4 people. It was harsh and stressful, and definitely difficult to deal with. But alas, we prevailed and the school started back up for the Spring semester with a few less students. Those students had either dropped out, graduated, or transferred up to the main campus.
Anyway, I've been on hiatus for good reasons, if you didn't already yank that conclusion from that monstrosity of an explanation. I hope to have more photos out soon, wish me luck!
I really appreciate all of your support. Honestly, it means so much to me!
Thank you!
